Authenticity – DSC authenticates the message source as ownership of a digital certificate is associated with a specific user, the signature indicates that the genuine user has sent the Doc.
Integrity– Integrity ensures a message or transaction has not tampered with while transmission.
Non-repudiation– Non-repudiation attests to the existence of a message or transaction and ensures that its content cannot be disputed once it has been sent.
Class 3 Individual – As the name suggests it is issued to an Individual after thorough verification as the class 3 certificate provides a higher level of assurance.

Class 3 Organization– This Certificate is issued to an individual on behalf of an organization. Organizational DSC is issued to companies , NGOs, foundations-government departments, and organizations. It comes with the name of the organization and it contains personal and organizational details. This proves the user’s rights on behalf of the organization. An organization is issued to authorize the organization’s signatories. Class 3 DSC is the most secure certificate that comes with a signing and encryption certificate. A signing certificate is used to sign documents while an encryption certificate is used to encrypt data.

Class 3 Document Signing Certificate
Class 3 Document Signing Certificates are also referred to as “Organizational Document Signing Certificates” and are issued for organizational software applications to automatically authenticate documents/information associated with the organization by means of digital signatures applied to documents, documents/information. The main purpose of document signing certificates is to auto-sign the documents and prove their authenticity of the Documents . Compared to Class 3 Organizational Certificate, where signatures are issued in an individual’s name on behalf of an organization, Class 3 document signing certificates are issued only in the organization’s name with a signed certificate ONLY. Class 3 Document Signing Certificates can be issued for 1, 2, and 3 years validity. Only one signing certificate is available under the Class 3 Document Signing Certificate. Organizations must have HSM (Hardware Security Module) before they can purchase a Class 3 Document Signing Certificate. Class 3 Documents can only be downloaded at HSM.

Class 2 Document Signing Certificate
Class 2 Document signing certificates are organization-based certificates issued to an organization in Organization’s name only this certificate is mainly used for signing documents and group information online. This certificate is available in.PFX format for server installation and automatic signing. This Certificate is similar to a Class 3 Document Signing certificate only but it is not mandatory to have Hardware Security Module (HSM) to get a class 2 Document Signing Certificate.
